Where It All Started: WE Knife Co.
WE Knife Co. was founded in 2000 in Yangjiang, China — a region with a centuries-old cutlery tradition — and began life as an OEM manufacturer, quietly building knives to the exacting standards of other well-known brands. Years of that work gave WE a level of manufacturing precision few competitors could match.
In 2014, the company launched its own flagship WE brand: premium folders built around hand-fitted titanium frames, top-shelf powder-metallurgy steels, and finishing usually reserved for custom knives. WE quickly became a favourite among serious collectors worldwide, and remains the top of the range.
Everyday Excellence: CIVIVI
In 2018, WE introduced CIVIVI to bring that same design DNA and quality control to the knives real people carry and use every day. CIVIVI focuses on functional, hard-working EDC (everyday-carry) folders at accessible prices — G10 and Micarta handles, dependable steels, and buttery-smooth bearing action. The CIVIVI Elementum alone has become one of the best-selling EDC knives in the world.
Smart Value: SENCUT
Founded in 2020, SENCUT is the most budget-friendly member of the family. It delivers the fit, finish and smooth action the group is known for at an even more approachable price — an ideal first "proper" knife, or a beater you won't worry about using hard.
